I'm not sure whether this should go in car talk or with politics, so mods feel free to move it if needed.
Has anyone been following what is going on with this? Trade in an old car that has bad gas mileage and you can get up to $4500 to use towards a brand new car that has at least 4 more mpg than the old one.
I'm keeping up with this because if it passes, I may be buying a nice new car. I'll probably end up doing so anyways, but this would definitely help a good bit.
