I remember when she was in her coma Jaime and others would tell her if she would wake up, we would throw her the biggest birthday party ever =(

On one hand im glad I didnt see her hooked up to all the machines even though I was at the hospital... but im sure she is smiling down on you right now.. She has a beautiful smile..

Yeah some days the only way I can picture her is on all the machines, other days I picture the fear in her eyes and the sound of her voice when she yelled for me to call 9-1-1 just as she slipped into her coma as she had the stroke. I will never forget that look of fear she had or the fear in her voice that over came her. Breaks my heart.

I've never met ANY1 in my whole life that I couldn't walk away from w/out ever thinking about them again. You don't wanna know how much that sucks Brett. I think I have the looks, the career, and personality that people would love to have but I will probably die single b/c I don't know how to let people in. To have love from her and to have had love for her that long I envy you. I get the admiration from "car guys" that think I have kool projects but no1 to go for a ride w/ the top down and hold hands with and laugh with. TRUST ME... you: 1,000,000,000 me: 0. You know, I have that same fear now though... That I will die single and never share moments with anyone again, to be honest, that scares me to death. They say to love and loose is better than to never love at all... But to that I say "try loosing the one you love" ya know? But you are right, I was blessed to have had Leisa in my life for the 10 years we were together, But I still feel and always will feel I was cheated and so was she. We had so many plans for our 10 year wedding anniversary (Would be April of next year) we had plans of what to do when her kids were out on thier own, plans to grow old together.... She was cheated a full life, and me, her kids, and friends were cheated out of life with her. :( Not a day goes by that I look over at the passenger seat as I drive the S2K and remember how much she loved riding with the top down, and how her seat is now empty.....

I can only imagine what that does to you. Hopefully in time you wont remember that. Just try to remember all the good things about her though.

exactly... I still talk to her from time to time.. we go to millers every tuesday for trivia.. and I went back one time to the funeral home and sat in the parking lot and talked to her...
