I've got to do some reasearch for mitsubishi, I can't BS my way through it. I think in the 70's all of the DSM cars were Dodge or plymouth. Like the dodge colt was the mitsubishi lancer. ANY help with mitsubishi or subaru models would be appreciated. Also any one see some corrections that need to be made in the first post let me know. Thanks

Datsun roadsters were 310s and 311s, 310s being 1500cc and smaller, IIRC.
Not all '67s were 2000cc. The 2000cc '67s are pretty rare, first year for the 2000cc motor in the roadsters, the U20. '68-70 roadsters were "high windshields."

SRL311= 2000 model
SPL311= 1600 model
SR= 2000 model, right hand drive
SP= 1600 model, left hand drive

in the 80's Mitsubishi also had the Galant Lambda, or the Dodge Challenger. Also, didn't they have some kind of small FWD car, similar to a mazda 323?

Good info on the Datsun 1600/2000.

In the Mitsu category, the 1st. generation Colt was also sold as the Plymoth Cricket. These were RWD:

The Dodge D-50 and the Mitsubishi minitrucks were the same, other than the grilles/trim.

And there were 2 different Honda 600's... the N's were sedans and the Z's were coupes:

Datsun 310's were FWD.
