WTB: GSR in civic parts needed(mounts,ecu,harness,axles)

Hey ia. I just picked up a 95 obd1 gsr engine/tranny. I need everything else to complete the swap into my ek hatch. I am looking for an obd1 gsr harness, p72 ecu, mounts(preferably hasport), axles, obd1-2 jumper harness, 99-00 si rear bracket, and header. I f you have anything that would work, stock or aftermarket, just let me know please. thanks

I have brand new, not been used innovative mounts. $250 obo. And the axles are best to get at autozone. $125 for both pass and driver with lifetime warrenty.

What year is your car, because the jumper harness comes in OBD1-OBD2A and OBD1-OBD2B. Just to help you out so that you don't get the wrong one by mistake.

Yeah i was thinking thie same thing for the axles. just civic si axles? and i'll let you know about the mounts. Imma wait and see what else is out there first. thanks

ohhh ok I see now. Well since everything is OBD2 meaning the cars original harness that's connected to the ECU, which should be an OBD2A and you're using and OBD2 GSR ECU, I think that if your looking for jumper harness you may be searching for an OBD2A to OBD2B harness. That is if the ecu doesn't plug into your current ECU harness :thinking:

If the car is non vtec then I do believe that he'll have to pin a few things

use your stock ek harness..and if you run obd2a 96-98gsr ecu you do not need the jumper harness..also with the mount you need a99-00 SI driver side timingbelt bracket, and rear bracket..and for the wire you need to wire up vtec, knock,change the iacv plug to the gsr one..and extend some wire and relocate the iacv pin at the ecu..

Well i think i'm just going to look for an obd1 gsr harness so i dont have to mess with any wiring. Would it be better to get an obd1 gsr ecu or to jump it to an obd2 gsr ecu. Which would be better?

Actually, nvm guess i cant use the obd1 harness in my obd2 car because the obd1 is a 2 part harness. soo confused

PM no mo hondas, He's more familiar with the OBD2 side of things. But still you'll need to wire VTEC, if your car didn't come equipped with it.

i think all 96 and up civics have the 1 pc engine harness (unlike the DC/EG that have the 2pc) that runs into the cabin and ecu plugs. I think ur best bet is to find an EX wiring harness from a 96 and up and that way all the wires r ran. GL on ur swap
