i havent even carried/shot it yet and there are allready some things that need a file taken to it :D
Its got a stainless slide, so i can go hog wild with files and not worry about having to refinsih it. Just bead blast and maybe brush the flats? Hmmmmmm :D

I always liked the brushed finish. Anywho.. I hope you enjoy it. What did you pay for it?

415 with a Comptac MTAC holster brand new (my fav holster, so that was a big selling point that i didnt have to wait for comptac to ship me a new holster), and a another holster that i forgot what it is but is pretty nice. Plus a spare mag.
So i figured i would pay 430-450 for a new one out the door, plus the accesories are worth about 130+. So in my mind i got a decent deal, its worth it to me so thats what matters haha.
gonna swing by and grab some carry ammo. Maybe some rangers? Whatcha think?
GA Arms run is in my future, since i need some 9mm now and 556.

the guy that I was buying all my ga arms ammo from has more in stock again. He flaked on me a couple of times in the past but has alot in stock now and is willing to meet up or ship. he is based out of cumming area i think exit 13ish..
Anywho..
I got your text.. I have good luck with the federal tactical +p ammo if i recall it was a 135 but it had a nice little snap to it. I have also had great luck with the black hills jhp 9mm ammo. More guns like the federal from my experience but the black hills shot a little better and would stay together with the most penetration and not break up like your typical fast moving smaller caliber rounds. While a bad guy picking out pieces of bullet sounds cool, if it breaks up on impact your not going to hit those vital organs necessary to stop an advisary..
JUST IMO! The rangers are nice but were always hard to come by back in the day.

oh and i forgot to mention the black hills uses a gold dot bullet and starline brass with a high quality powder. Once again like i have mentioned before. its going to take shooting several different boxes to find out whats right. I always ask gun shops if i can buy partial boxes when i am testing out a new gun. sometimes they dont have aproblem selling you 5-10 rounds. shot off a rest and practicing slow steady single shots and then quicker follow up shots it shouldnt take long to find out what definately doesnt work and then you go from htere.

I just did what you said and made my profile for a gunsmith and it worked. Would have been $36 without shipping, got it for $31 with shipping. I ordered it last week so maybe they've changed it since then.
Try making a new account.
