One thing you don't seem to understand is that ever since I had the solid axle in the car I had the wrong shocks, which gave me absolutely no weight transfer. So all I did was spin from any dig run. All that's fixed now so I'd you want to bet some money on a race with me let me know otherwise I deem you not worth my damn time. One thing you don't seem to understand is that ever since I had the solid axle in the car I had the wrong shocks, which gave me absolutely no weight transfer. So all I did was spin from any dig run. All that's fixed now so I'd you want to bet some money on a race with me let me know otherwise I deem you not worth my damn time. what i mean by set up for a roll is that its not really set up at all.. For one its fwd (so im pulling the weigh insted of pushing it) stock suspension 7.5 wide tires and 400hp= wheelspin and im using the longer geared tranny for the b-series.but i do have an LSD. so im only really any good for a roll ( to get past the wheel spin) now if i wanted to go from digs i would get some good suspension wider tires traction bars lower geared tranny i know it would not stop wheel spin but would be better than what i got now.

Now it has the built solid axle and full rear suspension, so I'll be leaving on the limiter next time if the track is hooking on Hoosier QTPs, 15" greg weld drag setup. Car will be about 220 pounds lighter too.

Lookin for 11.3s next time out around 121-122mph.

Not really man. The guy working on my tranny right now went 10.96@125 with 2.9 upper and 4# lower with full drag suspension (sra and tubular K) and bogarts with a 1.44 60'. He drove the shit out of the car on that pass. Low 11s is damn good for an upper only Terminator.

Yea, its hard to hook up a FWD with any power just being a street car. Iv'e already had three mustangs before but never a cobra just 5.0 cars the 90 model coupe i had would run good i got an 8.1 in the 1/8th on street tires it had a trickflow package on it it would have been in the 7's on slicks easely. I miss the fun of the RWD but i got in to much trouble with them thats why i dont have one now but im not as wild as i use to be now so my next car will be a 03-04 cobra for sure.

Why is there the mentality of "I am not bringing my car out unless the race is for money" coming from? If you are bringing your car out to race, (be it roll, street, or track) it will cost money and put wear and tear on the vehicle regardless. When you race for the fun of the sport it seems that all the bullshit of 'grudge racing' goes right out the window.

faster is in they eye of the beholder. someones car may be faster from a dig and someones car may be faster from a roll. so which car is faster? and which car is faster if they run from a dig, but don't stop at a 1/4 mile, but a 1/2 mile? there's so many ways you can twist it and theres so many excuses everyone can come up with for not winning... in the end, like i said before, we all have to remember that this is a hobby that we do for fun.

I daily drive it with the boost controller off 13.5 psi spring makes 380hp not that really matters either.big numbers are useless if your blowing the tires off. i just like it when im cruzin down 75 and a z06 or something (dealership fast and expensive )pulls up and they look at me like im a punk and grin stupid like i aint shit and then get that ass busted. i love it.
