its 5 bucks to get to the top. I want to get there before sundown. I had planned on getting there tonight but beer got in the way. Actually, rain got in the way, and beer just made it harder for me to want to drive down.

So maybe 8pm at the westin?

i was more worried about water beads on the outside from the rain. but its that dirty?

how does it work anyway? I have yet to see pictures of the room you stand in to look out. Does the building have its own floor dedicated just for observation?

I dunno if you've been to the Sundial or not, but its just a little floor above the dining room, in the same room. they have their own stationary telephoto binoculars, which is probably why they call it an observatory. I couldnt get any pictures that didnt have massive glare. even with my polarizer on. Excellent place to sit down and eat though if you're bringing some dough
