its not that hard to work with a chain. i personally like them better than belts for a few reasons.

They are a bit of a pain on your scion, be careful with the vvt actuator or you'll bend the locking pin and throw cam retardation codes for days.

To be honest with you the cams are a waste of money. I have a few buddies making 300-400whp on the 2az with stock cams and stock head. There are better things that you can spend your money and time on instead of cams. If you have the money for cams you should just buy a better turbo and manifold

its good to know this what kind of setup do your buddies have?
any internals on bottom end obviously good tuning?

Ya they have the bottom ends built, carrillo rods and cp pistons other than that the blocks are stock. Both of them are running custom kits and running the GTK550 turbo.

ive been looking into greddy emanage ultimate or aem fic but there still pretty pricey as compared to a full stand-alone like aem ems or hydra, haltech etc....just need to know whats a good system. i mean i know they are all good just need to find out which is easiest to plug n play or hard wire in thanks for all the help guys i will be spreading reps where im allowed

But the Hydra will throw a CEL code all day compared to GReddy EManange or AEM FIC won't.

By the way, when I get back...we'll have to see that turbo xB in action...along with my turbo tC...mwahahahaha
