not really, he probably is only unconscious because he was thrown out of the car. And thaat only happened because he wasn't wearing a seat belt. I think police brutality is wrong, but in situations like this I think the suspect deserves it.When you don't wear a seatvbelt, you're saying that in the event of an accident, you're fine with getting hurt, I don't see why his endangering consent shouldn't branch out to him not giving a damn about getting hurt by anyhting cnsidering what he did could have killed him anyway.

damn. I can't believe all 5 of them beat him like that.

I can understand 1 cop going nuts and losing it, but 5 all at once. Wow.

So your giving police the right to be judge and jury? Police are professionals and have sworn to uphold the law, beating an unconscious man is just plain unethical and illegal; and should not be tolerated by society nor thier PD.

On some primitive, testosterone driven, unethical level did the perp deserve a beating of a life time, HELL YES. But our police force is not there to enact whatever punishment they deem necessary, they are simply there to act and be professional and uphold the law to the best of thier abilities. Simply, emotional reactions like the one in this video are not acceptable.

I do all kinds of things that are dangerous and could kill me, and in a way i am consenting to the possibility of death or severe bodily harm. So that means I am ok with getting my ass kicked by the police?

haha hey, I am quite opinionated, and often not to the extreme, but I am tired of people complaining about the police when 90% of the time it's someone who only dislikes the police because they actually do illegal shit. I understand there are corrupted officers, but still, this is just one of those cases where the man in the car nearly took a life, so with the on his plate, it should be fair game for him to lose his life, or anything underneath that. Don't take what you can't give, a life is one of those things, if you're going to endanger others to that level of extreme I don't give a shit what happens to you.

and never mind about him risking his life so that means he agrees to an ass whooping, but a seatbelt is easy and not wearing one is stupid.

Do I think it's fucked up? HAHA, not in the least. He deserved a good ole ass whooping and then some. BUT it's not up to cops to decide the appropriate punishment, that's why we have a court system. Any cop who breaks the law in the name of upholding the law has no place in law enforcement. It was a bad judgment call on their part and for that reason they shouldn't be patrolling the streets.

I DO NOT AGREE with what they did but i can understand what lead them to demonstrate that type of behavior.

As human beings sometimes we all get caught up in the moment.

But as usual, people get on the internet review a story and the pass not just their opinion but HARSH JUDGMENT on the actions of others.

Did you know if they knew he was unconscious at the time? This is one of those situations where you have to be there before you can even have a VALID opinion. That officer that laid out the spike strip...What if he was killed? What of that was your uncle?

Would your opinion vary then?
