i like the shot of the tail light geoff :goodjob:
I hope there is more. Visibility is minimal with the darkness. Whole car shots with good lighting, are in order. Pic quality is great, tho.

Let it be a stock looking Honda and I bet you'd be drooling all over it. That car isn't stock. The only thing that's stock about it is the wheels. That car is clean as hell. Maybe you should go post up on someone else's thread with a bone stock looking civic and give them props like some of the other honda guys do.
Jon, the car is clean as hell, man :goodjob:

I just have a thing for someone who comes in and talk crazy about someone else's cars. If they don't like, they shouldn't post up on what they think, whether or not it's about a "stock tC" or not.

Jecht, I'm lowered on Hotchkis springs.
To those "unimpressed", this is really more about the photography rather than the car. But if you really feel the need to express your feelings, I made room in my Inbox just for you. :)

that was a general comment, you never see stock cars getting good pics like that, you always see someone killing it with aluminum tail lights or 6 foot wings and etc, you must of read my comment wrong, it had no concern to you

Very nice! I know where your sig was taken! I drove by there and thought to myself... what a cool spot for shots and possibly a car meet of epic proportions hmmm
I really like the pic #4. what size are those umbrellas and how are you triggering them?
What ISO were you shooting at?
This is great stuff!

Lol. I'm still on stock struts. 56k on them total, about 30k with the springs on.

See, now I will +rep you for not getting so upset over my comment. It seemed sarcastic to me, but I was probably jaded from reading the other comments.

That isn't so bad. I've been seriously looking into buying a new tC and I'm trying to figure what springs I'd like. Thanks for letting me know!

Yeah man it's a pretty cool place for a shoot. The warehouse lot is huge so there's plenty of room for rolling shots and whatnot. I passed by today but didn't think to look and see if someone has leased it out yet.

Yeah the struts seem to be good. I haven't had any problems or abnormal wear after installing the springs. If you do get one, try and get the TRD coilovers from the dealer and have it financed with the car. Had they been available when I got my car, that's what I would have done.

love the tail light shot dude! get those umbrella's off those lights ASAP, they just cause larger hotspots. shoot bare bulb and try to hide the reflections in the wheel wells. shots are sharp but theres too many reflections/hotspots from the strobes.

i dont have no beef with the man at all. he is the one that keeps bring up my name and its a really bad decision on his part.
back on the photography thing though, you got to do something about those hotspots, hotshot LOL hide the reflection from the strobes in the wheel wells or other areas and toss umbrella's in the trash

Preciate the comments guys!
Bandy, I think these are 42" umbrellas, but i'll have to check. I was shooting high ISO. Maybe f/9-11 for these to make sure everything was crisp, and I was triggering with CLS on my D200. Its amazing, It'll trigger the flash in almost any kinda lighting situation as long as i have a line of sight. I could put one behind the car too and get it to flash. I might pick up some pocket wizards later on down the road, but CLS is all I really need for right now.
Thanks Chad. I was trying to see what I could come up with using the different lighting setups. I had some with bare flashes, some with the white umbrellas and some with the silver reflector umbrellas:goodjob:

I wasnt taking it that far. I was just saying that there would have been more evenly spread light on the car if he relocated the lights and took off the umbrellas.
It is by NO means disgusting.
