new engine smokes why?

like i dont see,smell anything on a 20 30 min. drive pull up to park or stop to talk then it just starts smokes about 5 - 10 min. then stops

If it only smokes at idle, it's likely one or more of the valve guides are likely letting the oil through. Were the valve guides replaced in the engine build?

Are you the guy who keeps spinning bearings? Whoever is building your engines needs to stop.

i know on fresh swaps like my b16 it smokes a light white smoke at start up and only for about 24hrs then stopped b/c the motor sat for a while. i thought oil burn usually had a bluish tint to it, coolant is dense white, and a lil moisture is a light white, black is fuel, but i could be wrong. much more info is needed on this one for everyone to help you. i rebuilt a y8 years ago and it smoked white for a few hours then stopped but the car and motor sat for a while.more info please. car, setup etc.

What oil viscosity are you running in it? Fresh motors need thicker oil during their break in period.

hey man you need to run a smaller restrictor for your turbo oil inlet because that high oil pressure is pushing oil past you shaft seals it only needs a trickle to operate. mine was doing the same thing and all i did was use a smaller inlet 4 years ago. now my turbine shaft seal needs to be replaced because when i rebuilt it i just bought the bearings and couldnt afford the whole kit at that time and it only smokes at a after i roll to a stop for a couple secs then stops but never under boost.
