I have a 00 prelude with 2 check engine lights. The two codes are knock sensor and running too lean. I don't think the knock sensor is bad. And I know the car needs to be tuned. I have a JRSC and a few other mods on it.
I need someone to "help" me pass emmisions
fix the problems passing people illegaly is stupied

I can "help" you pass emissions. But my way of "helping" you usually involves actually fixing the problem.

Well for me to get it tuned I need to change it to obdI Chip my ecu and tune it with Hondata. I'm also gonna change my injectors. I just need 2 get it to pass so I can get it tuned.

Don't do that. Very bad idea. It will never, ever pass. Your car is an OBDII car and has to remain OBDII. Besides, it's way easier to diagnose with OBDII then OBDI.

those 2 problems go hand and hand dont they.running to lean= detination which you knock sensor is there to detect.
get a pressure regulator for you fuel rail adjust pressure to where you dont get detenation. and that should fix both those shouldn't it.

Your better off fixing the issues that are causing the lights. Passing an OBDII care illegally is a quick way to get caught. You can get away with an OBD0 or OBD1 care because of the sniff test but a 2 has a lot more information on it. Or you could do what I do and own rental property in a county that doesn't have emissions.

take it from an ex emissions inspector, you wont find anyone to falsely pass ANY obd2 car. obd1 and older is easily do able, i charged $100+cost of test. you can cheat on obd2, but the emissions guy may as well turn in his resignation and his asshole to the guys in prison.
fyi, if youre running lean, because you dont have adequate fuel compensation for your JRSC, you might wanna fix that. not only to pass emissions, but to avoid inevitable engine failure.
and if youre using a FMU that came with the JRSC and your map sensor is just sensing positive pressure, google "missing link" or try various auto enthusiast part sales sites. i had one on my JRSC crx, cost about $35, and got rid of my check engine light.

I know. I'm moving and the county doesn't have emmisions so I wont have to worry about it anymore.
..And I AM GETTING IT TUNED!! I'm asking for help..I said what the problem was and I'm asking for help. How can I get my car tuned GOOD without switching to obdI? Is the AFC neo any good?

So I'm not doing anything illegal?! I'm just asking for help so I can pass emmisions.. nowhere did I say that I need someone to pass it for me or to cheat.. U R assuming things

Fix the knock sensor, and for the car running to lean thats really bad anyway. But u can try a spark plug non fowler for ur rear 02 sensor that will stop the ecu from reading alot of ur exhuast gases i'm not saying this is going to solve ur problem but It may help u out....

You WILL not be able to pass. If some1 passes you they will get a 10k fine and jail time. OBD II cars cannot be passed like pre 96 vehicles.

So u think my knock sensor is bad and I need 2 replace it? How could I tell if its bad or not? Bc Couldn't the knock sensor just be doing its job and its detecting a knock...and would tuning the car be able to stop the knock if there is one?
