so the "exhaust" on my car rigt now comes from the header into straight pipe that curves to right under the passenger side about half way down the car then stops.... thats it.
was just wondering if it would be bennifical to get a full 3" mandrel bent exhaust all the way back or if the performance would be the same , but it would be just an aesthetic thing
thanks for any help
what size are you running now? 2.5?

i believe its a 3" but its like 2 feet long and just pops out the driver side. it was something kinds of rigged up because the previous owner was running straight front the header with no exhaust whatsoever.

I believe honestly you are going to yield the same power if you have it stopped where it is at now, or run it out the back by making pipe longer. If it is the same diameter. Mine ran 3" from turbo to midway back on car to a down pipe.

I believe that you should make a 3" exhaust that starts at the exhaust flange on the turbo, then cut a hole in the side of your front bumper and make it exit there.

i went 3" from turbo with vbands and then exited mine for that year 95 hatch out the pass side infront of tire and welded a rectangular 2"x7.5 inch wide tip for clearance because if you get caught youll get a fine for the exhaust not exiting the car. good luck with it and dont get carbon monoxide poisoning lol.
