Went to shoot my buddys evo today, i was pretty happy with the outcome.

the car is just a bolt-on stock turbo car with nice brakes, coilovers and BBS MR wheels.

yeah on #2 the back shot the front fender is blown out and too bright :(

my angles and composition has always been my strong point. lighting is getting better but still needs work, ill keep playing with it and ill get it!

#4 has about 2 hours of post process in it. more blur was added, windows were darkened, wheels were brightened, brought the red out in the calipers more, tree was heavily modified, power pole and power lines were taken out and the sky was dropped in.

i dont like HDR or the "HDR look" so my shots will always be bland :cheers:

Also i could tell the last one was edited at first glance. Everything's very blurry that was edited and the sky is the wrong size, not to mention heavily pixelated/rasterized. The tree looks like god himself chizled it to perfection and there are no real natural lines on it. As far as the whole package goes, this is your only good shot:

I wanted to say no where in the world looks like this mans pictures, he is tampering with them. It has nothing to do with his skills as a photographer.

Sure I have photoshop but this is about the limit of how my photos are adjusted.

I wanted to say no where in the world looks like this mans pictures, he is tampering with them. It has nothing to do with his skills as a photographer.

Editing is huge in photography. Proper editing is second in importance to the lighting. However, if you're a master at lighting, you won't need to edit much. Shots taken outside where you cannot control the lighting without a ton of equipment, editing is key in making or breaking your shot.

you need to go back and look cause i dont mean to be cocky but my composition is always on point. the sky is the right size. the original shot of the sky was 2200pixles wide and i resized the shot to 2200 pixels wide before dropping it in. god did edit that tree cause i blended the sky in then dropped the original outline of the tree back on the top.

i do my best to make a good photograph then touch it up in post process not hide the quality of the photography in editing. if my shots arent good enough then my photography needs to get better, not mask it with post process.

yes. and no. If you cannot control the lighting, the editing has to do it for you.

the 1st one is the least blown, there is hot spot on the front bumper but the other ones have many more hot spots than the 1st. the sky IS NOT the wrong size....who are you to say how big clouds are? despite what you think you are NOT god. i made sure the clouds were a realistic size.

lighting makes or breaks a picture, you being a professional photographer should know that. the hotspots in the rear bumper and the the blown front fender KILLS that shot, and the angle....it looks like the car is leaning.

its semi-constuctive but its a personal thing since his gay lover talked shit about my loved ones and i told him id smash his face into the ground william comes into every thread i make runs off at the keyboard.

actually i just heard, its official, this is a photoshoot. the photos will be used in an add to help sell the wheels. so the photos will be used to promote the sale of the BBS MR wheels. photoshoot FTW :bump:

2 suction cups, 10ft aluminum pole, parts from an old tripod too mount the camera. ALOT of BIG zip ties, duct tape and superglue :lmfao:
