Customer in canada recently sent this to me. Thought it would be good info for you guys.
I am sending you dyno sheet of before and after. It is positive result and I am sure that you'll find this helpful.
94 GSR, JDM type R pistons, BC3+ cams, AEM 3" CAI, Stock Type R catback, first pass was with JDM 4into1 and tuned4 was somewhat tuned with your header, VTEC was not addressed at that point and had to be raised from 5600 to 5800 for smooth transition.
Again, I respect what you did for me and this dyno comes to you with no conditions attached, rest is up to you.

with almost NO TUNING and VTEC not even touched it was damn near 11whp over the JDM 2.5in/DC SPort header

Even tho I'm not a fan of replicas, I gotta respect the power it made. With that being said, shoot me a PM with the prices of all your b-series headers.
Also, you should do a comparison of the rmf header vs your copy. I know where one is and I bet he wouldn't mind it.

i already did, power output was the same (within 1whp on a dynojet which is the same IMO)

i bet with some tuning and cam adjustments it would've been better. nice.

Yeah - I have 2 rmf narrows -- I also have a stock LS that can be a mule. I'd lend the header to the right people if they were serious about a side by side - same day - same time comparison... or, if this has been done I'd love to see the dyno.
I'm hit and miss w/ replicas --- what day of the week it is determines my thought-process on it. :D I'm lucky enough to be able to buy what I want, but I also think that if I had to adhere to a budget I'd praise the guys who can bring a comparable product to my doorstep for less coin. Wal-mart does this effectively w/ Equate brands so why the fuck not in the auto industry??
On the flipside... any1 who can make the business moves to bring in a replica product and move them, can also prob design something new/unique and market that successfully as well.
All in all, good stuff Kidd :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob: Keep up the good work.

Can I borrow it & see how it feels on my motor then? I'll have Charles (Mainstream) make me a sturdy skid plate so that it doesn't get hurt.

LOL - sounds good to me. I'll let you buy it from me - when you're finished "borrowing" it then I'll buy it back. :)
