Who ever does agree to split will have wasted so much money in investing in Soc security

the first time when there was no such thing as interstates, air travel, cars, missles, bombs, radio, tv, internet, technology, and outspoken cowards?

yeah this wouldn't happen again, they would just claim Marshall law on an attempt like that.

Social security will be gone anyway.

Honestly, it would depend on the reasons and the situation. I know several states that have threatened to cancel the contract the made with the federal government due to infringement on states rights. It would be no different than a country removing itself from the EU or UAE. Truth be told, it is more than likely the only way to get our federal Government as a whole back in check, as they have violated numerous states rights on various occasions.

some cities have actually printed their own currency and its actually a success.... stores take it (in that city) banks take it, you can spend it as normal cash.

Just because states have considered it doesn't mean its not crazy. The state legislature in GA brings up some crazy shit now and then. Succession from the union is just about the dumbest decision a state legislature can make.:lmfao:

10th Amendment.
Leaving the U.S. wouldn't be that bad. Besides, then we could print our own money.

It would solve a lot of problem, a lot of states are starting to apply for sovereignty.

What would the South re-name itself if it did secede? I say we should call the new country Glenn Beckastan in honor of the man behind all this secessionist garbage, or in the spirit of free market capitalism you all could sell the name to the highest bidder... The Wal-Mart States of America or something like that. :lmfao:
