CAR IS SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Car is sold please delete!!!!!!![/color]I have a 98 Nissan 200 sx SE-R that has been fully built.First off,lol there is a small leak where the radiator hose connects to the head but just small amounts so don't be scared if I was trying to hide something I would have just cleaned it up.Its where I had it chromed so you can but a stock one ir resurface the other side or leave it it takes a long time to get that much built up,and yes you can see where it comes out when you rev it up.And no 5th gear pop out either.Car has 120,000 miles on the body and new engine with less than 1,000 miles mostly chrome and super super clean,no leaks.Before I list the mods I will tell you if you want to offer me a trade I still have to have $4,000 in cash sorry no less I have bills.Must be like a stock 96 up civic coupe or 92 up hatch,imports only 97 up on the rest or a Wrangler.If not the price is $7,000 obo.No lowballers as I will not respond and please don't email me an offer we all no those are mostly bs if you have an offer call me only and be serious.I will try to find my dyno sheets as I just moved and am trying to locate my paper work but in the mean time your more than welcome to come and see,this thing is a monster.This is not a ghetto car its a get in and go,and no I don't no strip times as I don't drag race so I have no clue.All I know is whats on the list of mods I have and that the car is extremly fast and if you have something really nice to trade I may go down to $3,000 but obviously I would rather have the money.You can call me at 615-471-1160 sometimes it works sometimes not I have no clue or 615-278-8116 VIN#1N4BB42D8WC520891

Its a very easy fix.I can take it to my buddies shop and have it fixed in front of you I just didn't want to have it done and then have someone see antifreeze somewhere and look like a liar and then try to explain.Trust me its happened to me before it sucks.

Lol thats a good question I not sure but can find out.It was set to be a daily driver but was told if I upgraded my intake and reprogrammed my ecu I could easily put 500 down but I'm really not sure,so no basher police please,thats just what they told me at JGY.

Update:It was not the thermostat leaking it was the screw above it.I pulled up at a gas station and the antifreeze was going everywhere so I popped the hood and saw it dripping form the screw right above it.I touched it and it fell out and antifreeze started pouring out(burnt the crap outta my hand,lol).Anyway all is good now no leaking antifreeze.:goodjob:

So its smoking now? Have you done a compression test? Do that first because it might be something like the turbo, then post a for sure answer, that will give the buyer a better idea about what is going on

Yeah I wasn't supposed to get on it yet and a guy with a fixed up Chly. 300 srt kert trying to race so of course I made him look like an idiot,lol and any way started it up next day and blue smoke.I did a compression test and sure enough its the rings.But there is no power loss at all which was kinda weird.Just pissed cause I have a guy that will do it for 400 parts and all and I have no money and late on bills now so it must go.

Post the compression numbers. That is weird if you don't feel any power loss? I would like to see which cylinder went down, or if all of them went down, could be the Head gasket also, just trying to help you. I mean if the engine was broke in properly(there is many ways to do this) on a built bottom end, then you should be good.

Yeah but it wasn't broken in all the way yet.I think the first was 130 dry 150 wet second 135 dry 175 wet and pretty sure the ither 2 were almost the same.Sorry can't think straight cause a nerve is exposed from my tooth worst pain in the world,lol.But oil and water are both fine.Quick question though would I have to get a new head gasket or would the cometic be able to be reused.Kinda crazy question but heard I could reuse.But you id you get on it the least little bit there goes the blue smoke.

I would never reuse a head gasket, Cometic or not. How many miles do you have on the motor? I would almost be interested just to take it apart and rebuild it myself. If you can get it done for that cheap($500), thats pretty damn good. I really don't think you would like what I have anyways. Good luck

I'm sure you would,lol.I don't mind to rebuild myself if I have too.I sold my stock 98 200sx se-r last year for 4200 on CL.I have a stock sr20det here at my house so if I wanted to I could replace but no need.If I don't get 4500 or a nice trade I will keep its no big deal I'm just pissed I have so much into this car and the rings go bad.Plus the sentras are hard to sell these days I have had 2 that I had forever that were monsters and as clean as can be and neither one sold for more than 2800 with JDM swaps and a ton of work.Well good luck and thanks for looking.

Who was the shop? I know some shops in Chattanooga, and Nashville. Most of them know their stuff.All motor and turbo motors Should have the same or similar break in periods. Usually i get an engine running, then I get it running safe, then get the motor broke in over about 500 miles or so, change the oil, and get it tuned. What is the extra block that you have? Is it complete?

just a little FYI i know the guy who sold you this car personally and i know you havent had this car for 4 years. he had it for 3 and never put the title in his name. HE did all the work at JGY and put a little over 10k in the car. so get your facts straight before you try to lie to people to sell this car.
