"Did she find the hidden camera?
Did the cops come out from behind the car, angrilly asking her to GTFO the car?

Was she on AMERICAS FUNNIEST CAR BREAKDOWNS?

Nope..

Just didnt order the American tax payer package on new cars.. It says in the tiny print.. buy Japanese.

At least if the car breaks down, the company has the money to fix it for you."

High quality Chevy products, even though I am a corvette fan.

Corvettes aren't really Chevy- they ride on a higher plane- The Camaro though- now that quality screams American!

GM = FAILURE

I can say im completely suprised but I did not think there were going to be this many issues so soon.

The broken down one is the best even the dealership said they were going reroute the cable.

This is just a slap in the face! Come on, I can't believe they would make these major mistakes! I bet you there is additional weight built into calipers on the very next run of cars, but if you buy the first, you'll have wheel weights on em. Same for the wiring. The high speed nose breakage wont get fixed until a model redesign.. thats my guess.

How many V6 motors did you blow? lol I highly doubt if you didnt try to have a high horsepower v6 you wouldnt have had issues. Ive had my car for 15k miles so far and not one hint of a problem. And guess what...mines a first year as well. Cant say that for my WRX or other cars Ive owned. Theres plenty of S197 GT owners that push 500+hp on stock internals and trannys all day long wtih no problems and for a long time.

Ford knows how to redesign cars, and I know plenty of people that work in dealerships and they say the S197s are rare to come in for service. Some people abuse their cars day in and day out and expect them to last forever. But this deal with Chevy takes things to another level.

i'm still laughing at the damn weights on the brake calipers... that's some W T F material right there.

I love one of the comments someone made on that site about the weights on the calipers..

Gah, you've gone and done it now. Each weight is 45 extra HP. Tuners have known this for a long time, but have been keeping it on the down low because they needed to bulk up on sticker sales instead. They don't even add drag, and the fuel economy stayes exactly the same.

Now that GM has gone and made it stock on Cameros it's all over for the import tuners. Everyone is going to know and want their own. Pretty soon you'll even be able to buy 45hp brake weights at WalMart!

Actually the old Camaro is complete failure. Don't believe me.....

New Camaro 32-36k
IRS, 436hp LS3, 8:20 ring time, retro design, good interior (for GM),
Old Camaro 26-34k (consider this was 10 years ago ish)
Solid rear, 350hp, probably not capable of turning, barf worth interior...

I think they did it right, at least compared to the shit they were offering back in 2002.

Honestly though it's gonna be the Mustang all over again. A bunch of chick buying V6 models or guys who are scared of the V8. And finding SS's on the road is going to be rare. Heck the Gen Coupe lost to the V6 Camaro by one point done by Car and Driver which I think was stupid.

Honestly this doesnt surprise me. Chevy dropped the ball on this car.

First of all why the fuck did they make the cars first apperance in a movie and then take 2 years to actually get the bitch to market.

Secondly. The changes made over that two year period made it look and feel cheap. These things will depreciate like a bitch. I gurantee it.

i wonder how much money THAT cost them, and now 2 years later people are saying "transformers? huh?". yeah, GM failed hard on this one. its things like this that make me wonder why they are still trying. not to mention the enormous debt they owe, loss of performance division, etc.

at least the interior isnt your usual GM bland ass form < function < price design policy. 5th gen interior? LOL can you even call it interior??

at least it still performs well. honestly, the marketing and hype for this car was started far too early and thats the big problem that i see. and the brake weights... uhh... otherwise everything else is pretty much expected for any first year car, theres always gonna be problems. especially with an american made car.
