my first time

So for 23 years I have been able to say Ive never broke a bone, well that changed yesterday. I was on a ladder removing roof tiles down here in Fl for my job(on of the many things we do) and if the damn ladder doesn't break. I'm 7-10 feet in the air and I just fall. I did good till I hit the ground with the tip of my left foot first. and BAM broke 2 bones in my foot. I didn't go to the hospital right away cause I thought it might have just been a sprain or some shit, but after almost 7-8 hours of it STILL hurting like it just happened I had to go to the hospital, and then sat there till 10 this morning just to get told that I have an appointment with a specialist and will prob need surgery on my foot. So I'm not looking forward to that.

i screwed up my foot playing foot ball in like november of 07.. er bandaged it up and sent me to a specialist.. they put me in a brace with crutches... told me give it x amount of time to heal and come back cause i could need rehab... well me thinking i knew more than they did, i never went back for the second appt cause my foot felt fine............. now if i do anything physical running/jumping whatever i get some really bad pains in my foot.. and there's no way to go back and correct it..

yea I'm going to go what ever they say I need done. not footing the bill also helps in this since I got hurt on the job I can file workmans comp and I am doing so.

oh and crutchs suck ass, its a whole new way of getting around. hell the pain meds are wearing off so I need to go get my prescription filled, BUT my ID is in the work truck and its out and I need those to get the meds.

I've never broken a bone... but I did get a severed achilles tendon (yes.. it got CUT in half)
