so yeah, i dropped a bike today...ive never felt so stupid in my life..im sitting here, after driving home barely....waiting for someone to take me to get checked out. I wasnt wearing a jacket, only jeans and a tshirt....somehow my foot got caught, im guessing this because my shoe is chewed up, and not from the road rash either. This wasnt my first time on a bike, and i wasnt acting stupid....guess bad luck just likes to follow me around..
WEAR LEATHER!!! even if your doing 30-40 mph around the block!! dont fall off, fuck up your ankle, and skin both arms and knees just because you didnt wear a jacket.

If I ever was stupid enough to jump on a bike... you better believe I'd have a full set of gear on, helmet, leather jacket, jeans or leather pants, boots, gloves.... Ya, it may look like overkill but I've got a lot less chance of coming out mutilated...

bikes are soooo much fun though.....i got some crazy stories about bikes though from when i worked at the shop....some serious noobs (not even deserving of SQUID) that couldn't ride a bike to save their life....but yea bikes are great i just would kill myself if i owned one

i rode an 05 GSXR750 down blood mountain with all the fairings hanging off, and no shifter other than the part of the arm that was left. i was passing people getting to turner's corner :D. amazing the looks people will give you when you pass them on a trashed bike having a blast ;)

lol it's weird riding without a peg cause you have to find a scrap or metal to rest your foot on without getting your toes near the chain....but yea riding a thrashed bike is a little crazy...one dude welded his bars back on after he wrecked so that he could bring it to the shop and one of our guys was riding it not knowing the bars were broken and rode it straight into the shop fence when the bars broke back off
