Picked this baby up. Thought about the Sigma 10-20mm but opted for this one instead and very happy with it!
Shot on a 50D body (lens snapshot taken with a 70-200 f2.8 L IS)

Only gripe is the user interface and menu systems differing from Nikon so much. Itll be fun to get back out at Formula D later this week. And its been fun putting my "set" back together.
I still have love for my Nikon bretheren! :boobies:

I hear ya, its always good to switch something up, you never know what you're missing if you don't! I don't think i'll be able to make it out there this year, too much other stuff going on, but if the chance comes up where I can, you'll be the first to know holmes :goodjob:

aperture 4 lenses are overrated.
You should have bought a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8, dog!
Only $400 new!

I did have one for two days. And also a Tamron 24-75 f2.8 . Was not a fan of the build quality, so I returned it.
Any "wider" angle lenses in this range Ive owned were close to being aperture 4 anyways (coming from an EX 12-24mm Sigma), and I shot for about 3-4 years without needing anything in the 2.8 range (at that focal range). The 70-200 2.8 IS L makes up for it and eventually the 24-105 f2.8 L will be joining my bag as well. Never been a fan of Tamron or Tokina build quality. Not saying they are bad glass, just not a fan of holding one.

Sorry to dissapoint :) Maybe a 5D MarkII will become my main body in the future :ninja: After all, I did sell my entire Nikon rig.

Not the greatest in the world as far as hitting the focus dead on everytime, but when it hits it, it's on point. Savng my change for a nikon 24-70 2.8

well cool man. i would definitely like to try out your new lens. I want something wider than the 24. I also want something longer than 105, but i have expensive taste and want 70-200 f/2.8.
