Really really considering starting an ice cream truck up with the summer coming up seems like a good day job. I know someone that does this and its really his only real income and he makes enough doing it. Anyone here either run one or got any advice/tips for me?

Makes me feel old. Still funny though.

A real ice-cream truck could be profitable as long as you establish some good routes.

I remember the candy lady when I used to stay with my grandma for the summer in a trailer park. Lol I guess every "ghetto-ish" place had one. :D

IF you wanna travel to Hambersham!!!

But u gotta scope out the area for people who actually buy ice cream. I hardly ever stop a truck to buy ice cream, all yall mark up the prices so much that the ice cream doesnt actually taste any better than the usual from the store.

Money can be made driving a tow truck, But it would be best to own the truck, becouse if you are making payments on it, it gets tough... I know, I owned one for four years and was pretty busy, and it was tough.

tow truck payments $650.00 a month
insurance $300 a month
fuel est. $500 a week
up keep ? depends what you break...

This was what it cost me when I owned/operated

Its well worth it. Ask Ilovemyhonda, Jrm4ny, GSRteg, C-los

But I would take it all the way to him for an additional fee...
