ok so i got a 93 accord f22 non vtech.i decided to swap motors due to the valves were starting to go and got a good deal.PROBLEM is i got a motor for a 95 and 96 body style.not thinking there were any big differences went ahead.BIG MISTAKE.my question is has any one done one maybe give me a couple pointers.cause ive done so much i hate to have to find something else and do it all over again.ive had to do a lot of swapng of parts between motors.

well the intake mainfolds dont match up.you cant use the one from the 97 motor cause the map sensor is built into the throttle body and the 93 runs off of like a map canister with vacuum hoses.the intake ports on the 97 motor are smaller than the 93 version so the intake is leaking(using the 93 intake currently).im going to try and use the top section from the 93 and bottom section from the 97 but the fuel line on the 97 is on the drivers side and the 93 is on the passanger as long as the fuel rail from the 93 bolts on right and the top sections are the same i think ill be ok.i was just trying to figure out if anyone has done it.

you need to go over to cb7tuners.com man, i think if you would have gone as high as a 95 it would not have been that bad, but from 96 and up, thats when they went to obd2, so the plugs for the engine harness and things of that nature are different, you will also need an obd2 ecu

multiple people have done this before on cb7tuners.com, they have great swaps sections and help over there, everything that can possibly be done to a 90-93 accord, somebody in that site has done it, its all there its just a matter of searching,

i cant post links right now cause im on my dash, but im more than sure that youll find all the help you need and more there

Will the wiring be a problem too? As someone said your car is OBD1, motor is OBD2
