im perfectly aware of that, i brought my price down by more than $300 to get it gone quickly. as far as it having been driven hard, its been a year since the guy in rome owned the car, and it hasn't given me a single problem other than a bad coil and this injector issue, both very common Z32 issues... the car is fine.

but theres no promiss that thats the problem is my point..my gtst did the same thing and it was a bad valve...so ..thats y im saying i would be better prepared to pay alittle more if it was fixed and proven reliable than wishen me the best of luck as is..

thats because you don't know what you're talking about, at least regarding Z cars. trust me, the issues that its having boil down to one of three things: plugs, coils, or injectors. Its an injector issue. Ask any Z32 guy that knows their shit. Check all the forums. Its extremely common in these cars. I mean I understand what you're saying and I'd be happy to fix it and then sell it, but I NEED A QUICK SALE because I'm buying an S2000. I have no desire to keep this one or spend any more time/money on it, I'm moving on. Thats why its cheap.

i've had an opportunity to replace injectors before on 92 300zx model.
it's a major Pain in the BUTT. why? b/c all hoses are brittle and needs to be cut to be removed.
then. when you have to take off the entire upper plenum. and then fuel injectors must be pressed into the fuel rail (not a easy job) b/c injectors have a plastic cap that breaks if you try to use a c clamp or a press.

if you measure the resistance of injectors, you will easily find the one that's bad.
just my two cents. BYW, 1 injector cost 100 bucks, I doubt they will do the two injectors and labor for 300. Last time i checked was back in the 1999, and they wanted 800 for 1 injector.

yeah its not a piece of cake but there are a lot of write-ups. there's also an alternative method for replacing individual injectors that allows you to completely avoid pulling the plenum which is a whole lot easier, and there are write-ups for that method as well ("the dremel method").

as for the cost, im not just making shit up. that price is utilizing used OEM injectors. Call Z1 and ask them yourself; they told me 300-350 out the door.

generally pretty reliable wow lol
it has a pair of bad injectors at 150,000 miles and thats the only issue. suddenly its an unreliable car? thanks for your comment.

nah you guys are fine. any Z32 guy will admit, they're a pain to work on... but like i said, Z1 told me themselves, $300-$350 OTD, so if someone doesn't want to mess with it thats all they should need to put in.
