I'm adding this to the rules thread and making a thread so people see it.

"Let's run in the mountains instead" or "Let's go to a road course" is not a valid compromise between parties trying to race.

Do not use this as an excuse to get out of a race. The first offense will result in a one week ban. Second will be a two week ban. Third, don't bother coming back.

I'm tired of these bullshit excuses and the KF being dead.

If you want to race in the mountains or challenge somebody to an auto x or whatever, go to the suggestions box and put your idea in for another sub forum.

But you can't enforce it, so Billy is still gettin' it done.

6) If you don't agree with street racing, press the back button and find another forum to post in. This section of the website is about racing of all forms (street, drag, road course, auto-cross). If you don't like any part of that, we encourage you to post elsewhere.

7) No talk of any racing except of some type of straight line racing. First offense 1 week ban, Second 2 week ban, Third Permaban from KF.

You should read the rules that have been here years before you try to change things to please a few...

I never challenge people to the road course, nor the mountains but I will continue to post video's from my club races, or time trials or fun track days when I actually get "kills," like when I was running a GT3 cup at R/America and when he finally got by me he flew into the wall (all on vid), people always liked those around here and on other forums.

At a road course, nope. Sure can't. That's what you are there for.

+1

I dont really call people out to show them whats up. I just like to see more people get involved in track event other than straight lines. Its hard to do just one track day as you know

We need to get you out to a track day so I can show you what your was made for

If I had a beater, I'd do a lot of road racing.

Unfortunately, I like my car and don't care for putting it in a situation where I can wreck so easily, nor do I have the money to keep up with all the wear and tear road racing does on it.

Road racing is definitely a much more involved competition than drag racing, but that's not what this forum or ANY street racing is about. So these road racing fuckers can piss off.

Like I said I don't say road racing this and that, mountain run whatever I don't give a fuck, I have my forums where I talk road racing and I have my forums where I talk street racing I just expect the rules to be the same rules that have been here for years, and I would still like to post my video's of me actually killing other cars and executing some type of skill on a road course for some variety on here. People like watching those, i'm racing cars vs. other cars, going fast and having fun. Limiting the forum to straight line "only" talk is insane

Sounds like we need a road racing subforum.

Thats what an instructor is there for. To keep you in your limits.

I am not at all saying street racing fucking blows blah blah, its just not my thing. But as Ian says, why limit the killsforum to a two pedal section?

I would LOVE to see a "Road Race/Time Attack/ Auto-x" section....really badly

That'd be good but the community is really small in here. I am probably the only one here consistantly that's consistently at some race track 8-15 weekends a year doing something worth watching with a video camera.

Appealing to the road racing community is like catering to the gay community in real life. No one really wants to but eventually everyone has to.

You should take reading comprehension 101. Nobody is asking you to appeal to anyone, I just said blocking out other varieties of racing is insane.

Edit: Also the forum will never make money sticking to "straight line racing."
I'm sorry but the most successful car boards all thrive with huge racing sections, typically either with road racing as the most popular or including it in the topics. I.A should go look at Bimmerforums if they ever want to make 1/5th of what that site makes annually.

There's enough retards in the world for the school systems to justify giving them their own bus... so I don't doubt it.

Your ignorance is amazing. I'd like to invite you to come out to the track sometime to try to enlighten you because unfortunately you actually need balls out there, and money, and skill. I'm not hating, but next time we are at Road Atlanta you can come up there and go for a ride and grasp a greater understanding for physics. Oh and Thacker,
My brothers long time girlfriend (maybe fiancee soon) family owns a strip. They got Vipers, Chevelle's, old and new Vette's, 1/8th mile cars 1/4 mile cars and I've been in the 7-8 second car thing and i've driven them all and I do love it, but it aint shit compared to what you can do on a road course

Not saying there's anything wrong with road racing....I'm just saying the people who want to come in and talk shit to drag racers and be like "why don't you race me in some twisties???" are fucking douchebags and shouldn't even be posting in forums for straight line races if that's all the mental energy they can muster.

I couldn't' agree with you more and I am on the exact same page, however
discriminating against other types of racing is just stupid on the sites behalf, and should be welcomed seeing that it is discussed in its own threads.

but really, people are hating because people want to go run in the mountian...thats just as dumb as street racing.

Who cares people actually street race, nobody actually runs in the mountains, it's just an excuse on this site.
If you actually raced someone in the mountains with vids, make a thread, other than that stay out of straight line threads with talk about turning (referring to everyone)
