Well I was at a yard sale and a lady only wanted $5 each for 2 broken NES's.
After fixing the pin connectors I got them working again. I also had a broken ipod docking tv station and decided to make a little one unit hybrid. I have absolutely no electron skills but with some patience and super small tools I was able to get it to work :)
<br>
Things done
1. 8 inch screen ( I initially tried to make it flush in the system but was about 1/4" too thick grrr.
2. Integrated sound card with dual head phone jacks and svideo
3. still has capability to hook av cables to screen
4. Single speaker sound lol I broke the other and dont have a soldering gun
5. Stealth flat black ( it got kinda beat up in the putting together process
6. Notice the 2 blue batteries once I get new ones I should have this thing mobile.
7. integrated menu panel w/ sound, video options and power button.
I also wanted the screen to face the other direction but rerouting the cables would have been too much of a hassle... for now anyway.
Another thing is each unit has its own power supply, I dont know how to make them unified? When I spliced the power unit and put two sockets on one cable I got alot of funky feedback so Im stuck with using 2.
For my first time doing something like this it came out great and me and a friend beat mario 3 while watching the game last night awesome :)
