He didnt say that they set any type of new record. He just simply stated what they ran which seems to be the fastest they have run so far. Now if they had set a new record of sorts then yes they would have had to back it up for it to be legit. Geez whats with all of the hostility?

if they ran that on some 17 inch drag radials that pretty impressive.

I don't know for sure but I think they are 17's. I do know they are indeed drag radials though. Whatever fits on stock Supra wheels is what they are running. No slicks.

Thanks everyone, and don't worry Jaime they'll always be haters out there. We can't let them bother us all the time, just some times. We just came back from the King Of Streets competition for 5.0 and Super Fords magazine with our twin turbo 2002 mustang at the NMRA nationals in Bowling Green. I feel we did very good, however nobody gets the results until the issue hits the stands first of spring.
Windsor, you would have appreciated this show and would have loved all the shit that was out there, it was a pimp weekend.

Thanks. This was the 10inch tire championship event. However, there were a lot of sick cars there like 6 sec. all motor cars, and everything was a mustang. It was like something even I haven't seen in an event. There must have been a million people there, and no funny business.

yeah most of those were the supras, but one was the mustangs. Yes we were loading up and heading to Kentucky. We built that mustang in three days, and had it dynoed before we left. I only have a few strands of hair left. You should have stopped by.

9.7 on 17 drag rads? nice. Why aren't you using 15's and slicks though? you might be knockin on 8's, very close at least. I don't think AAP can keep up with that time in their Turbo 6 car. Is your car an Auto or Manual?

They built the TT Mustang in 3 days. The Supra is a different story.

They started on Monday, Dyno'd for an entire day, and packed it up on the way to Kentucky by Friday. Not an easy feat. Specially when the car runs as good as it does.

150 yds in which direction?

Thanks again guys. We went out this weekend and backed up with a 9.62@145. That makes it the fastest stock tranny supra, and the fastest 17" radial car ever for a supra. So needless to say we are very excited about it. Thanks again, see everyone on the 24th.

Not only was Sam crowned the Turbo 6 Season winner, but he also ran a 9.4, 9.5, and 9.4 this past weekend in Ohio to back up all the runs for the haters.

So, congrats again to my boys! :goodjob:

Thanks again everyone, we had a great season thanks to a great crew. We did have our best weekend, the weather helped, but getting used to the car and working all the bugs out is what made it go faster and faster. Those runs are some record breaking numbers that have been standing for the transmission for a while now. Trust me even I'm surprised that it did it back to back on 35 series tires, and a stock tranny on the right side. Shit the 9.5 run I didn't shift into OD and got out of it and ran that with a trap speed of 133, so that could have been a much faster pass had I not got out of it, but I don't have my NHRA license yet so I didn't want to get DQed. But a little smooth talking prevented that. Thanks again everyone see you on Sunday.
