Once my E30 warms up it begins to emit large amounts of a Grey and blue smoke at idle. There is also a decent amount of the same type of smoke that comes from the turbo as well. I have checked the drain line and everything flows smoothly. I,at first, thought it was the oil seals on my K26, so I replaced it with a larger AR63. however my problem persists.

I am stumped right now. Any ideas and suggestions would be great.

I am currently using a 5series TD manifold. I would like to upgrade to 666 Fabrication's turbo manifold and I found a Holset h1c/hx35(found 7 for a GREAT deal) combination to go with a Tial External Wastegate.

Have you done a compression test? What kind of oil pressure does your engine have at idle?

Do a compression test, you may have a broke ring lan on one of the pistons...

is your turbo tilted? Are you running an oil restrictor fitting to your turbo? Oil catch can?

first bet would have been oil seals but you said you replaced the turbo.

Like the others said do a comp and leak down test.

my honda did it once when the gaskets that go around the spark plugs on the valve cover got old and started leaking oil down into the spark plugs. Not sure if the E30 is set up the same way or not.
