How to get texts on Tmobile bb pearl with broke trackball?

Anyone know how to get to my texts on my T-Mobile BB Pearl when it doesn't have the trackball assembly?

My trackball system broke and exploded on me at a gas station a few days ago. Boss ordered me another but I keep getting texts from my reps about stuff and I would like to see them tonight.

Any ideas? Can I see them online?

My friend has this happen and used a pin or something small and pointy to move around the area where the trackball used to be, and he got it to work.

Another member on here lost his trackball and we went to tmobile and he took one out of another BB and used it, lol.

I had it happen to my old curve,there's a cell phone store(I think its called cell phone clinic or something-its by the skatepark) in discovery mills they'll replace it for like $10.
