New guy here from Acworth/Kennesaw area

What's up guys? I went to the meet this past friday night at starbucks on barrett and I gotta say I was suprised. I've been trying to register on the forums for a while now and It's finally fixed. As far as my ride goes...I have an blue 04 CBR 600rr. Nothing special. It's been laid down and I'm fixing it back up to make road worthy. I shall be posting pictures up when I get the chance. Me and my cousin were sitting in the parking lot at starbucks and we didn't know anyone. Hope we can make some new friends.

heres a few pics. btw i gave $1300 for it and it has a clean and clear title. went to auburn alabama a few days ago to pick it up. has a few goodies as in an akrapovic' slip-on and a power commander. all it needs is a left fork and a radiator other then cosmetics. i have everything but a headlight and nose fairing. everything is perfect on it and runs great. i have a rear tail fairing on the way now along with a left handlebar clip-on. if anyone knows somewhere i can get cheap parts from lemme know. ive been on ebay and bought a few things already.

i rarely see them in that area... i live off shiloh....

i got looks all the time from the buell i had... (blast) cause it was naked....

got a almost mint tail piece off ebay. color matched.

heres some pics. i took some pics today. i put most of the things on it i could. i actually dont need much things as i thought i would. the whole right fairing along with the bottom pieces are actually all good. the left fairing where it was laid down only needs one small piece where it mounts up to the headlight cowl. i just need the bolts or tabs to hold them in place. yes i know i put fucking tape to hold things on. i dont have any bolts for anything. i just put all this on to get an idea of what i need to get. as you can see the radiator is fucked. starting to look a little normal now.

radiator
new brake and clutch levers
front fender color matched
front headlight cowl
front headlight cowl stay
k&n filter
integrated taillight
left fork

That sums it up. That's all i need for now and im just waiting for parts to be delivered :goodjob:

thanks everyone. total i have in the bike is right under 3k. i have all my parts and waiting on my headlight and ANOTHER set of forks. i bought my 1st set of forks and the douchebag sent the wrong ones so i had to buy another set. the new ones were just serviced and have fresh oil in them. ive been thinking and im going with white instead of sticking with the blue fairings. all white fairings and ill keep the black accents as in the wheels and engine covers.

not as bad as it looks. only the left fork is slightly bent and i had to replace the left clip on. radiator is waiting to be put on. fairings are actually still in tact. i have two upper cowls to play with. i drove the bike the other day and its fine. no vibration and rides smooth. i cant complain for the price :yes:
