I hate to sound like a complete jack ass, but I've driven on tires that were much worse than these and it was fine. Now these tires weren't bald, but no doubt they were old... which is what I think got me.

I'm not dodging the fact it was my fault, but IMO it goes into the "shit happens" category. I do feel like a jackass for not acting on my instinct, though. The car picked up a VERY SLIGHT vibration about 10 minutes before the accident and I didn't pull over like I felt I should.

Like I said though, it is my fault, not denying that :goodjob:

I'm pretty sure the frame itself is ok; the frame went under the guard rail and it just pushed the radiator support (obviously the hood and fender as well) back... so maybe I can sell the car complete for around 2500 OBO. I mean, it's low mileage, shifts great, runs strong, VERY nice interior, etc. :cheers:
