Peoples driving is getting worse apparently..

So my mom called me a minute ago and a girl she used to teach got killed yesterday as she was running down the side of the road for cross country after school....this girl was between 15 and 17 and got hit by a car....i'm sorry but if you can't keep your car on the road why are you driving at all? whenever the cross country team runs they stay at least 3 to 4 feet away from the side of the road...at the very least...how can you just happen to run 4 feet off the road and hit someone in broad daylight...this also made me think of the 2 people that got hit and killed in athens last week...why are idiots like this on the road?

dam... thats so sad. people should lay off the applying makeup and talking on the cell phone and pay more attention to driving. i also think that people like that, that do hit people like that should be tried for murder, cuse to me its almost the same? but just my .02

it happened just down the road from this one last year a 21 year old drunk guy was coming home late at night and hit a man on the side of the road who was walking home from kroger cause his car broke down and the kid kept going parked the car in the garage and didn't tell anyone....he got like community service some fines and a suspended license

she was 15 and they said her body landed 30 feet from where she was hit....some woman in a minivan hit her as she was trying to get across the street...and it was 7:30 in the afternoon.......geeze it's crazy she was 15 and already gone....this is gonna be one crazy funeral...it's always worse when it's a kid

Anyone can get a license. If you fail your driving test the first time I really feel sorry for you, your an idiot. Unless we change the liscensing process this will continue to happen. I also think police concentrate too much on speeders, and not enough on people that don't pay attention and/or drive aggressively.

i will agree with pay too much attention to speeders....i have gotten enough tickets and i know people that are just flat out bad drivers who are still driving around ticketless
