difference between a Mixtape and Album ?

mixtape is usually/always a mix of songs that are not meant to go mainstream...

albums are made through the recording company, reviewed, edited so that they appeal to the masses if you will..

yea a mixtape is like a cd of random songs put together by a dj or sumbody like that and a album is what u would go buy in the stores
