SO TO COUNTER ACT THE SPAM I AM CREATING A NEW USER GROUP... KIND OF LIKE BUCKETS... YOU NEED REQUIREMENTS TO GET INTO THE NEXT LVL...

3 LVLS OF GROUPS...

LVL 1 REGISTERED USERS (NEW PEOPLE)

LVL 2 NOOBS (REQ 100 REP OR 10 POST OR 30 DAYS REGISTERED)

LVL 3 MEMBERS (REQ 100 REP OR 100 POST OR 180 DAYS REGISTERED)

MY MAIN QUESTION IS WHAT PARTS OF THE FORUM SHOULD WE ONLY ALLOW REGISTERED USERS TO POST IN... I AM LIMITING THEM SO IF WE GET ATTACKED BY SPAM IT CAN ONLY EFFECT CERTAIN FORUMS.

NEW MEMBER, REQUEST FORUMS, SIG TEST FORUM, ETC... WHAT ELSE?

good... can you make it so level 1 can only make new threads in the new member intro and maybe the wl? but they can post in any open thread.

level 3 should only be allowed to post in ANY sale forums... since thats in the rules aways, pending the $10 post fee of course.

all should be allowed in the whoreslounge.

level 3's gain access to the car subforums, euro, asian etc etc. (seeing as the euro forum is the one that we seem to have so many issues with as far as spam goes)

level 2's for the car clubs and sponsors. 10 posts is not hard to obtain and we generally catch all (most) of the spam before it reaches 10...

thats my 30 second decision.

WL should only be allowed if you have 500+ posts. That way, when members get banned for AE's, they can't get a new name, get back into WL and start shit. It would def keep the AE's down.

offtopic had it so you only could post in the new members section. and after awhile a mod/sm/admin had to approve you to post in other parts of the forum. i believe that is how it is.

I wouldn't worry about the WL for spam. They hardly ever post in there compared to Euro and AV. I would personally restrict them from posting outside of New Members but give them the ability to roam except for the RLD.

Can reply to threads in Above Forums, Sponsor Section, For Sale Section
Can rate threads/cast votes on polls anywhere viewable
Some forums not viewable
lvl2 - Noobs (need 100 rep or 30 days or 10 post for this lvl)


Can access to above
Some forums only allow reply access to post Whoreslounge, RLD, Some Forsale Sections. You can not create new threads/polls in these areas.
lvl3 - Members (need 200 rep or 180 days or 100 post for this lvl)
