what the hell is wrong with it....what would make that happen. me and my friend are going to try and fix it. but i think it is going to have to be taken to a shop.......any suggestions? please!!!!!!

last weekend we figured out the passenger side headlight was out, and you have to remove the whole friggin battery to change it.

throwing parts at it due to lack of diagnostic skills or unqualified shop could cost more. kinda like a gamble either way unless a friend with skills works on it.

also to test it take it out in see if the little circle in the middle of the sensor, check to see if the magnet is not gone.

i retract my statement. (i would check/clean the egr port anyway :D)

update your pcm software. should cost about $85 at your local Honda dealership

If he has no egr codes don't waste the time , its not a issue at this time.

Do you just say random shit?

take it to a shop. It sounds like an easy fix with the proper computer.

This thread is full of fail. lol

The only things that could , under normal circumstances, cause a random multimple cylinder mis-fire Code P0300 is Crankshaft position sensor, Camshaft position sensor, or ignition control module. Possibly the coil pack but only if its for all six cylinders. Not plugs/wires or anything that is dedicated to a single cylinder. The code means mis-fires on multiple cylinders not intermittent mis-fires on a single cylinder.

I HAD BOUGHT A MAZDA 6 WITH THE SAME CODE AND ALL IT NEEDED WAS THE SPARK PLUGS AND COIL.

seems like it was some sort of computer malfunction. the mechanic pulled the code and she told me it spit out a bunch of codes. he test drove the car and said it "ran like a scalded ape"
and thanks again everyone!

oil on the valve cover gasket can mean a number of things..........

i didnt read the whole thread, but something this new(2003) and all cyl are misfiring...prob some sensor or somethin

and yes a trip to the dealer will probably clear things up pretty quickly.

Hey, I kind of have to same problem on my h22. Me and my dad changed the plugs and got a new distributor cap. He has a coil up at a shop that we are going to try next. Then wires, then rotor. When we fix it, ill tell you what it was and maybe it will help.

04-25-2009, 08:14 AM
first off, 03 Accord V6 has coil packs. if it is showing a misfire code for all 6 cylinders, it is not likely that all 6 plugs/coils crapped out simultaneously. Does the car run rough? Did she have the drive belt replaced recently? If so was it a Honda drive belt?

Black4DrEK
04-25-2009, 09:06 AM
 I think she got it fixed, it was a ecu malfuntion or something along those lines!!
