View Full Version : "Basics" Stepping up our networking... Gecko Unite
Random idea i came up with on the way home today. We should all step up our networking. Like everybody thats comes out or are actually active should get together and know what eachother are good at (hobbies or work). You never know what the person sitting next to you can do or get you hooked up with or a good deal on. If you do not have anything you're, find something or you are deamed useless and will not be eligible for any other networks within the squad.
This is meant to be a non selfish deal and hopefully those who do have skills or hookup would look for oportunities to help others. If somebody comes to u with a hookup or whatever you want to call it, dnt have them ask u for something in return. Offer to do something for them as payment or you can pay them if u both agree the money is the only option left.
IF UR IN IT JUST TRYING TO MAKE SOME MONEY OFF THE MEMBERS, DONT EVEN BOTHER!! THIS IS NOT AN IDEA FOR PPL TO MAKE MONEY FROM BUT TO GET STUFF DONE THAT YOU NEED, WANT OR WOULDNT MIND HAVING. Kinda like a trade off.
If your deal are worked through your job, dont risk getting fired or going to jail bc obviously without a job or being in jail you will also be deemed useless.
This is just the basics of my idea and if anybody finds it of any interest i would really like to have a mature group discussion over drinks with you. Even if its just for the sake of bsing.
And last but not least, Joselyn is the only female in the crew right now so if i hear of any of you motherfuckers trying to do something for her and trying to get a sexual favor in return i swear to you i will catch up with you and atleast curse you out like the piece of shit you are. 1 for disrespecting her, and 2 for slapping me in the face bc by the time you make that mistake i will know that you hve read this warning. If you feeling big we can find out what the next level will be at that time. So dnt fuck with me, we are all friends so lets keep it that way. um kay? :D

i completely agree with this suggestion. if you know you can get tires for stupid cheap why not help your fellow man? umm... unfortunately im good for nothing :(
only thing i know how to do is hype shit up and promote. and im also good at tastefully modding MY vehicles.
uhhh... i guess if anyone wants a pretty good assesment on a car and what's pretty tasteful errr... ummm... holler at me? :dunno: :o

networking outside of cars...well it just depends what you need. I have a lot of "hook-ups" but I dont use them b.c I hate feeling like I owe someone.
the purpose of this thread is not to post ur hook-ups, only to get ur mental wheels spining to come up with some ideas and hopefully result in a "in person discusion" among those who are interested.

You guys may want to start looking into networking with other clubs.
I know ASAP has a good repore with Goon Squad, BRB and Ground Level and we have looked into doing events together.
Just an Idea.
ASAP would be more than willing to help out the Gecko Squad if we can!

I think it's more so so that we can get to know each other a little bit better. I I have good rapport with tons of people on the site but still have yet to know what my squad can assist me with. Not because I dont think they cant help but because I have just never asked. Thank you though! It would be nice to get a heads up when you have events. When I can go I'd be happy to attend :)

This was a random idea i came up with and i have a feeling it could really take IA, the world a long way. but i have to start smart and get the idea in working progress b4 i branch out to too many ppl and it goes on a bunch on unintended paths. I planned on going outside of the G-Sqwad but again i want to get it working and "fine tuned" so to speak b4 i bring it to other crews.
Andim not talking about events. Well first off, what kinda events are u refering to bc im trying to get away from just cars. Ive been in the car scene for over 10 yrs now and im older and my mind is going alot of different ways than cars now. Cars are EASY to me, i need a new challange with alot more door ways and possibilities if this makes any sense to anybody.

Thanks man. And definitely school is definitely a good start. I had them as an option b4 i went to North Metro Tech but wasnt into the IT stuff back then and that pretty much all they were then. But you seem to have an idea of what im talking about. :goodjob:
