So here it is finally.

Bucky assured me to bring it back within 2-3 weeks so he can wet sand and buff them out for a cleaner look. It's easier to do it while it's on the car. Thanks again Bucky, your work is always A+++ :goodjob:

Front bumper and rear add-on fits real well, but sideskirts fits like sh1t, so I will be taking it to a body shop, so they can make it look flush.

Just ordered me some front tow hook, so it'd finish off the little hole that's visible under the bumper.

NICE PICTURES WILL BE UP SOON!.. removed crappy iphone pics.

He told me it was harder for him to work on it because it's not on the car (buffing wise..)

LOL.. oh shiat, nahh I didn't mean to bash on Bucky at all!! Overall I love the paintjob that he did. Paint matches pretty well.

It looks different in these pics beacuse of my shitty iPhone pictures. I'm NOT bashing bucky's job at all. plus I didn't wash my car for over 3000 miles.. so the bumpers look ALOT cleaner than stock bumpers and body paint.

What I was trying to say is that, he makes all of his customers happy. He ASSURED me to come back so he can make it look even better.:goodjob:

You all are complete idiots lol! Does the paint look like it matches in the "before" pic?

http://i39.tinypic.com/osd2dw.jpg

It's the angle and curves of the bumper compared to the body panels adjoining it. Only under certain lighting conditions will it looks the same in pics.

Then read Bucky's reply, he didn't even paint the rear bumper but if you check out the rear valences that were painted they match perfectly. :slap:

I'm just saying from the picture the color look way off it might be different if seen in person! Point blank! It's common with metallic's and pearls to look like that so I bet the paint does match. I can post several members cars that appear not to match in pictures or at certain angles...one angle it looks exactly the same then another looks completely different and gets exaggerated even more with aftermarket bumpers that don't exactly flow with exactly with the lines of the rest of the car.

The rear bumper was not painted and you can see the difference between the bumper and rear quarter. What he did paint is the rear lower valence and as you can see in the picture matches exactly to the rear bumper.

http://i41.tinypic.com/24ovclj.jpg

You can see the same difference in the front bumper of the before pic.

Do you have a color match machine or did you just wet sand and buff until it "looked" like it matched?

I'm by no means a painter, but I am a human and I have eyes. Who the fuck cares if anyone is a painter, it's the PEOPLE that are going to look at the color of the car. I'm not talking trash about the car, I think it's a nice ride. I'm just pointing something out.

I'm assuming the kit is glass. Generally different materials don't match 100% regardless, even say bumpers on OEM factory cars.

Anyway, carry on.

Anyway, carry on.1) It's already been established that it has not been wet sanded yet.

2) Using a color match machine while wet/color-sanding? Whoa, what body shop have you ever seen do that? I'll make a visit to them this week just to see the process...

Yes, that's exactly what I said, color match machine while wet sand and buff. Scan the paint while sanding it so you can get a good idea of your skin color. Do you know how to read?

What shop? No shops use a color match machine while wetsanding and buffing.

But bodyshops DO use a color match machine to paint, and THEN wet sand/buff to get a closer match to wear/tear of other panels.

WTF is naming a bodyshop going to accomplish? I can name 100 in the state of Georgia.

You said, "color match machine while wet sand and buff". I've seen shops use paint thickness gauge's but never do that!

So you're implying instead of using the chassis' paint code he should color match the paint on the car instead? lol, about that. Seriously doubt the car is that old and abused to require that but never know.

If you named a shop that actually checked the color post painting then I already said I would go visit them this week to see their facility and process.
