Thanks everyone. Right now im just lacking a few things, i still need to buy a fuel pump, spark plugs, and axles. The harness should be done this weekend, and then she'll be ready for a tune, so im shooting for no longer than 2-3 weeks...hopefully, but you all know how that goes.

Looks good. My only suggestion would be to get a new oem oilpump. The one you have looks used and d-series are notorious for oil pumps going bad. Would hate to see that new set of rods go bad. Good luck with rest of build.

Thanks to all for all the positive comments!!! No i did not have to shave any off the girdle....the rod bolts BARELY fit...lol. Sorry for not coming to visit atl here lately guys, life's been crazy! And not to worry, you havent seen the last of the super hott/amazing shirtless body of Dirka Dirka. hahaha. And for the record, dont think that i didnt do a b series because i didnt have the money, my car had a perfectly fine running b16 swap in it, and i sold it to do the 'single slam' because i wanted to be different and still make some pretty serious power....just thought id throw that out there cause im sure a few of you were wondering. lol. Easy tiger...by ballin, i meant pretty nice name brand parts and a decently nice build IMO. But to each his own. Plus the oil pump has already been replaced since these pics were taken.

The girdle and block have been notched. This isn't my first rodeo, or D series build. It is, which you can't tell by the pics, clearanced everywhere. correct main and rod clearances. Filed down rings for correct end gap for application. All correct torques, adjusted valves, honda bond, the whole nine yards. But I've spun it over a lot lol.

there is a fix for the egg shaping but the right way to do it is to have it installed THEN bored/honed. I ran into that problem with a b16 i built. I installed a different brand on my personal engine and had no fitment issues whatsoever. either way good thread.

it was kinda dirty, like a typical old D series, but not terrible. A good hot tank and some new parts and blue printing brought it back pretty nice though.

see your getting everything together looks good, you will have no problem hitting 350 whp i made 360 on 20lbs with my bone stock y8 head/built bottom, just pulled the swap out of the coupe though and im changing the head for a built one then its time for 26lbs and 450ish on race gas.

yeah the block is notched, but the damn machine shop didn't clearance the girdle, so I had to do it. Only took like 10 minutes, but had like 2 handfuls of aluminum after I was done. We almost have this shit ready. So much nickel and diming from everywhere. God damn I hate O'reilly's.

yepp him indeeed, go to the balancedperformance.com website. he has tuned several 700-900whp hondas and a long list of more behind that. He is the shit only downfall is you will need hondata thats all he tunes with but i have s300 so im covered. Ill be heading back soon. I got a z6 fjt/vitara block with z6 head stuff with bisimoto springs/retainers and a custom grind turbo cam from him going in a 1500lbs EF so it should be fun. Looking for low 10's or high 9's after i get enough seat time in. Im down to hit the track! Your gonna have a blast with that swap. Whats the specs on your turbo?
