Even in the midst of a global recession, the U.S. exported an estimated $1.377 trillion worth of goods last year, according to the authoritative CIA World Factbook. Nearly half of the exports were capital goods such as aircraft, computers, electric power machinery, office machines and telecommunications equipment.

NOT A SUPRISE THAT aMERICA LEADS THE WORLD IN HIGH TECH EXPORTING. tHE PROBLEM WITH THE TRADE IS THAT WE IMPORT CLOSE TO 50% MORE THAN WE EXPORT.

:goodjob: i think the number may be a little higher but im not sure. we import everything these days escept orange juice. well notice tropicana no longer says made in the US, i think the chinese bought them out with pepsi co.
