did you lose the rubber gasket on the iacv when you pulled it off to clean it? you have a major vac leak it sounds like. pull the intake tube off and cup your hand over the mouth of the throttle body. if the car keeps running and just drops idle a little then it's taking in air somewhere other than the throttle body.

if it has a fast idle valve on bottom with coolant lines on it that could be it! happend to a friend of mine and me twice. i just find a throttle body without it and runs great.
