Its coming, it will be pure brutality!!!
July 24th at Lakewood (http://www.mayhemfest.com/)
Every concert except one Ive been to at Lakewood Ive been in the lawn. Not this time!!! Ill be in the fuckin PIT!!!!
Who am I going for??
Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Black Dahlia, Job for a Cowboy, Skinlab, and All that Remains.
Who else will be there:
Slayer, Manson, Bullet for my Valentine, Killswitch, Trivium, God Forbid, and a bunch of others.

Of all the metal concerts Ive been to, Ive never been to a metal festival. Yes, that means Ive never been to an OzzFest. Warped tours yes, OzzFest no....

Anyone else going or thinking about it???

i will be at this, no doubt. i'm mainly going for Manson though, since i've seen most all the other bands live anyway

Wouldn't it be Mayhem '09?

I'll be there though...lots of good bands. Behemoth is incredible live. I've actually seen most of those bands before, but it'll be cool to see so many in one day.

Fuck, I meant 09, my bad....

Ive seen Cannibal Corpse twice, Behemoth and Back Dahlia once. Cannibal Corpse is really the only reason Im going. The other bands take the ease off the $70 ticket price though, LOL.

I know Warped Tour has nothing to do with metal, I was talking in reference to FESTIVALS period in that statement.

Ugh. Forget lakewood. I'm not going there to see any of this. Like the fucking family values tour of shitty metal bands. This has been a suck year for metal.

Only 3 months later did I finally remembered to buy my ticket for this.

I went ahead and spent the extra $4 so I can have an actual seat. The grass isnt that comfortable but just in case I injure myself I have somewhere to rest.

The only thing I know will kill me is that night or the next morning Im driving to Nashville for Import Alliance. Its gonna be a rough weekend. :cheers:
