1990 325i. I f'ing love the car. Interior needs a little work, but it makes a hell off a DD. And the exhaust sounds mean as hell, i'll have a vid of it eventually (as long as my camera doesn't fuck the sound up). The guy put a lot of time into the car, it has all the performance stuff I would have done, and there are really only a couple problems with the car. I might be getting all M3 black leather interior pieces for it, we'll see, maybe not, depends.

Edit: sorry pics arent that great, sun was setting and its just a P&S. Hopefully i'll find some time to buff, polish, and wax the exterior, and give the interior a full detail, then it should be stupid shiney.

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with the purchase. I was thinking about gettin an E36 M3, but decided that we (me+wifey) didn't want a car payment, they suck. So got this instead. Biggest problem I have with the car right now is that the dash lights don't work (kinda like the CRX  ), and the drivers seat is broken, won't stay up, have it getto rigged to keep it up right now, oh well, I like fixing things anyway ;) .

I hate you so hard.

Naw, not really. That's a super nice looking E30. As an added bonus, if you wanted to go club racing, you have a direct path to SpecE30.

As much fun as this car is to drive as a DD, the crx is far superior for Auto-x.

Thats more like it, this car would make a great track car. But I would have to modify the suspension a little (low, but crap, its all for looks, nothing really good).

On another note. I got the M3 interior in today, huge improvement, and the seats are the shit. unfortianetely the drivers side seat is all ripped up, but its still extremelly comfortable. I'll post some pics later, probably tommorrow, along with a vid of the exhaust. :goodjob:

The SpecE30 suspension is supposedly very streetable, and uses high quality parts. Check out http://www.factory3performance.com for some of go fast bits. Factory 3 is owned by one of our racers, who is also our SpecE30 director for NASA-SE.

What's the car sitting on right now?

I believe they are called H&R cups? Kinda like the BMW version of the eibach sportlines I think, more for looks than for actual performance. No idea what struts its on, there not factory. The car rides great for how low it is, but any bump larger than half-inch causes the struts to bottom out. I just got done fully detailing the car (inside and out, took 9 hours), so I'll start messing with the engine and going over all the suspension in a couple weeks, depending on how busy I am. Lots going on right now.

Whats even better though, is the wife now loves the car, all it took was all black leather interior and a good ride around the block. :goodjob:
