I was interested in getting a better stereo setup than what I have now. For now I just have two Sony 6.5's in the doors. What is a 6.5 that is within a reasonable price range that have good sound when turned up fairly loud? I'm also going to be putting a set of 4 inch speakers in my rear cargo panels, so if any recommendations on those as well will be appreciated.

I sell DB Drive...their entry level speakers sound amazing. I would compare the clarity and response to Infinity. They are $35 per set. I mentioned them because is will be a lot less. Infinity will be the only other one with a entry level price. All the other major names will atleast be $90 or so per set.

I was looking to spend $60-$90. So lemme hear what you've got for the 6.5's. I might consider their 4's though.

DS-nice starter equipment.
Rev-I'm running Kickers in my truck and I had Kickers in my mustang. Father is also rocking Kickers in his Viper. (we like kicker) Almost every speaker is the same. Will you notice a difference from a entry level speaker to a 120 buck speaker? Not really. if your running off the factory HU then what DS has is a good deal.

I have a Sony headunit. It's nothing special, but I had a non-working tape player when I got the car. It's like 52x4 hu if that helps.

Those db drives are pretty good for their price. If you don't like that then try the Memphis. IMO either would be a good choice.
