i of course changed out the burnt fuse for my foglights, but having since done that, i realize that now my foglights still wont turn on for some strange reason. They dont seem to get any voltage when i turn the switch, on according to my meter.... I know theres a short somewhere in the wire, or one of them is grounded out but what i would like to know is which part(s) do i replace to make this as easy as possible without having to deal with more wiring?

Take a big light with metal inserts that will fit where the fuse goes. If it's a short to ground it will power up. Find a schematic and start pulling apart connectors. When you pull one out and it goes out you know where your short is. Don't put a larger fuse in it because then it could just burn the whole wire up.

What would the relay have to do with it?
