Going to San Antonio, Any Ideas?

I fly in to San Antonio tonight and return tomorrow night. Has anyone been? Is there anything to do? Famous bars, strip clubs, attractions?

Six Flags is around the corner from the location I am going to, and 30 minutes from my hotel.

I haven't even checked the weather out there yet. Shit! All I packed was a button up and slacks for my meeting, and some jeans and AirMax's for something tonight.

Too bad you're only there for a night. Six flags is on the Northwest side of town. That's considered, pretty much, the rich side of town. Where is your hotel at? If its 30 minutes to the South you'll be pretty close to downtown. Downtown San Antonio is home to the Alamo and the man-made Riverwalk. The Alamo is cool for about 10 minutes. Ozzy Osbourne pissed on it and is now banned from the city. The Riverwalk is where you wanna be. Just walk up and down that and there are bars everywhere. I recommend Mad Dogs. The bartenders there are always the hottest in the city. If your hotel is 30 minutes to the East of Six Flags you'll be in my neck of the woods. Weher or not you like Country music, I highly highly highly recommend going to Cowboys Dancehall if you have time TONIGHT. Its college night. They dont JUST play Country music. The girl to guy ratio there is fucking spectacular. Drinks are cheap and they even have a mechanical bull. Typically on Wednesdays they'll have bikini contests too. Right down the street from there is a spot called Midnight Rodeo... often times referred to as Midnight Rope-a-hoe because the women are a bit older and easier to pull. If you go there, make sure to order Texas Long Island Ice Tea. Prepare to shit your pants. :) Anyway, have fun. :goodjob:

Oh, and stay away from Military drive unless you have some ppl with you. Its infested with Mexican mafia... thats vato territory. HOWEVER... there is a spot down there called the Ghost Tracks (http://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/1298) thats a must see. Its been on Unsolved Mysteries. I've been there a dozen times and it still trips me out. Some ppl claim you're on a hill, which was disprooved on the show. Get out of the car, put your head level to the ground and see for yourself.

Austin is about an hour North of San Antonio which is famous for 6th street. A street they shut down at night full of bars and clubs. :(
