This was off of a '91 SER sentra
The valve cover was stripped down bare, primed, wet sanded, primed, wet sanded, few coats of blue, wet sanded, few coats of duplicolor "Metalcast" purple.
I used Krylon on my DSM valve cover and after running it for a couple weeks, aircraft paint stripper wouldn't take it down off (tried 4 times letting it sit about 7 minutes each time) and I went through sand paper like it was metal. So with this valve cover, I used krylon for the primer and base coat.
With some wet sanding or clear coat, this thing will shine like GLASS.
