I'm sure there are plenty of suspension experts in here so I have a question for you. I have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata V6. The car has plenty of power but it just drives like a boat. I bought a set of Eibach Springs for it but that only lowered it and did not provide any better spring rate. Here's the question.

Does anyone have any ideas on custom spring venders that can make springs per my specs?

I've looked online and there are no "racing" type springs for the car and I'd really like to get this thing driving right.

thanks,

How far did they lower and are you going to keep the factory struts? Lowered on factory struts does not equal good handling. Struts and tire upgrade is where I saw the most significant changes. Springs were good for visual height but adjustable struts and softer grippier tires.

redciv1, you are absolutely right. So far I have upgraded to 17X7 wheels with 255/50 tires.
The springs lowered the car about 1 inch, looks better but as you have figured out, no better handling.
I'll be upgrading the struts next but I'm thinking that the springs do not provide enough support. If I put anything in the trunk it SAGSSSSS bad.

thanks for the info,

Look into other toyotas that share the same suspension and may have larger diameter anti-roll bars.

If you dont mind I would like to see a pic of this lowered Van

Seanrg1116,
Sorry to disappoint but this is a car not a minivan.

I'll try to get some pics up for after the springs were installed.

thanks for the info.
