Okay, first let me say I tried all other options like pm's, text messages, calls. All this happened at the end of February. It started in some other members thread looking for a gsr trans. He responded to it as having one. Me, not being able to post there yet contacted him about his supposed 98k no grinds gsr trans for $400. I decide to buy the thing and meet him in Cartersville at Mcdonald's. I give him the money after being reassured that there are no grinds and that it is a good shifting transmision. I get home the same day and examine the transmission a little more. I spin the main shaft over and pull on it and notice that I can pull out on it and move it around. I'm like holy shit of course so I take the housing apart and look at the trans magnet. It is covered in all the wire spacers from the mainshaft bearing closest to the splined shaft. The "tick" noise when I spun the trans over was actually ball bearings stacking up and one falling down the other side of the bearing. all the synchro's looked like ass too. I text him a picture of all the metal I got off the trans magnet. No response that day. No response to pm's, no response to texts, no response to calls. Then I get the idea to threaten driving down to Atlanta to kick the shit out of his hatch. Guess what, Immediate response. Then I tell him about the big piece of garbage he sold me. He say's he will come pick it up and keep $100 of my money. I say okay b/c I can deal with that. no answer at all until I try over a week later. He answers, tells me I have the wrong number. I'm positive it's him so I ask him about the transmission I bought from him and he acts like I don't know what I'm talking about. So if any of the other members on this site want ass rape for garbage parts from shady losers, then please, do business with jdmeg_6. I don't expect any money back. Just don't do business with the guy. You are better off just blowing in a strip club or something fun. Not garbage.

Also note that there are several people with similar names but this is a fat, curly headed guy from outside of lawrenceville to straighten things out.

there are two similarly named people. one is jdm eg6, the other jdmeg_6. He was driving a 92-95 teal hatch. He is from Lithia Springs I think.

It was his idea. I had an idea he wouldn't give me any money back. and I live 2.5 hours away. He said he would come pick it up for $100. I thought that a great idea to get $300 back, but instead, he ignores all communications after he came up with that idea, and when I do get in touch with him he tells me I have the wrong number, even though I know its him. So yeah, wouldn't you consider $300 back better than no money back which is what I got. I got taken and I can't get a damn dime back.
