Thats fucked up..But I also know where the car wash is coming from..Ive worked at service centers and seen the same thing happen to techs..The problem is They worry too much about quantity and start caring less and less about quality..Your supposed to use a damn specific torque wrench anyway

Why are you typing fast?? I just typed that fast and everything is in order and makes sense. So, with that being said. I'm gonna agree with both post above yours and leave it at that.

I understand people make mistake, because I do all the time, and I have strip pans before! I even told them, all we want is for them to just retap the pan if they could save it!

yeah but if that car has 250k miles on it think about how many times that plug has been in an out too?

things dont last forever!!!

When something comes into the shop and either looks or feels strip I let the customer know right then, that way you can either make some money or atleast the customer knows about it and can't bitch later..

If they let that car leave with out telling the customer about a problem and it comes back a few days they have to take care of it if not sue them and you will win this case!

Thats my point, if they told him or wrote it on the ticket! he and I will not be this pissed! now he has to pressure wash the drive way, because of HOA!

Are you asian?
i vote "yes". given the sentence structure, grammar, and over-use of punctuation.

example.

Yeah thats actually why. Nothing racially motivated about it. Just curious. The structure was the main reason

if he has a HOA, its most likely a nicer neighborhood, if its a nicer neighborhood, then his house most likely has a garage. change it in garage?

Call corporate office. I had something like this happen with wifey new car. They didnt tighten the oil filter and it was leaking oil. We took it back to Nissan since it was a new car. They charged us 125.00 Diagnostic fee. I took bill to oil place and they didnt wanna refund me.
They asked why i took car back to dealer. I told them becasue they where morons. Well they refused too pay, so i called corparate office and got a refund in 1 week.
