in November, had some engine issues. turned out somehow i broke a valve.

had the valves replaced/resurfaced etc. problem fixed.

now its april, and yesterday while driving i get a blinking cel. i go to autozone and i get this:

p1259=vtec system malfunction
p0171=System Too Lean (Bank 1)
p0303=Cylinder #3 Misfire Detected
p1399=Manufacturer controlled ignition or missfire (random misfire i think)

whatsssss the problemmm now?

I'm guessing your civic right?

Time for a "complete" tune up..
Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor Button, Fuel and Air filter.. Also make sure when you pull the plugs no oil is on them.. ;)
Normally I would use the scanner to check voltage on the O2, But since you don't have one just start with whats listed and see if the Cel for the O2 comes back.. If so replace it.. :cheers:

Later!!

i got 3 of the codes you posted on my gsr a couple yrs back. i did a compression & leakdown test and had almost no compression in 2 cylinders. check the injectors, vtec sol. for starters. GL with it.
